STEEL PACKAGER
Automation Personnel Services is hiring a Steel Packager for Kloeckner Metals in Alpharetta, GA! Looking for a job where you can learn new skills and be part of one of the nation's leading steel service centers? This is your opportunity to join a team that values reliability, teamwork, and promotes from within. If you enjoy hands-on work and don't mind getting a little dirty, this could be the perfect fit!
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Steel Packager Duties and Responsibilities
• Clean steel parts to prepare them for shipment
• Package and wrap steel products according to customer specifications
• Inspect materials for quality before packaging
• Move and organize steel materials throughout the work area
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures while working around heavy industrial equipment
Steel Packager Qualifications and Requirements
• Previous manufacturing, steel processing, metal fabrication, or warehouse experience required
• Experience working in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment preferred
• Must be able to safely lift up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English
• Must be comfortable working in a hot, dusty steel manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently as part of a fast-paced production tea
