Job description

We are seeking a Teller II to be a part of our Carlyle team!
Tellers are the faces of our company to many of our customers and non-customers. Tellers help customers meet their financial goals by handling routine financial transactions and giving a warm welcome to everyone who comes into the branch. Tellers inform customers of other products and services that meet their banking needs.
Teller II's are responsible for accurately processing financial transactions and being an effective source of information for customers: in lobby, drive-thru window or by telephone. Provides friendly, professional, confidential and effective assistance to customers and company associates ensuring a positive experience and minimizing wait time. Typically, has more than one year of experience and may provide backup for another function.
Additional job duties include and are not limited to:
  • Maintain customer confidentiality
  • Open accounts (both business and consumer- checking, savings, CDs, SDB)
  • Welcome customers and provide accurate and timely services
  • Balancing and maintaining accurate transaction records
  • Have great knowledge to sell deposit products
  • Process monetary transactions for customers, which can include cashing checks, accepting deposits, handling loan payments. Issuing of cashier checks, money orders, currency orders, and selling license stickers
  • Answer questions regarding checking, savings, and other bank related services
  • Cash handling and effective customer service experience, preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be accurate and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as needed
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
