Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

LTC RN โ€“ Long-Term Care

Agency: Medical Solutions
Contract: 56 weeks
Shift: Evening โ€“ 8 hours, 2:30 PMโ€“11:00 PM
Weekend: Every other weekend
Holidays: Must be available for at least half of the holidays during the assignment
Call: No on-call requirement
Float: Yes

Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • BLS โ€“ AHA
  • Elderly / Long-Term Care experience required
  • Experience with assessments, medications, charting, and charge duties
  • Experience with IVs, catheters, ostomy care, and other clinical skills
  • BSN not required
Facility / Unit
  • Nursing home attached to a hospital
  • 70 residents, majority private rooms
  • Patient population: Dementia, frail/elderly, rehabilitation
  • RN ratio: 1:20
  • LPN ratio: 1:20
  • CNA ratio: 1:8
  • EMR: ECS
  • Telemetry: No

  • Interdisciplinary support includes Therapy, Social Work, Administration, Activities, Dietary, and Housekeeping
  • Pharmacy and medication dispensing system available

  • Client may cancel up to 12 hours per 13-week period
