Job description

CEO is a Community Action Agency committed to making a positive impact by supporting our customers, colleagues, and community. Through our wide range of programs and services, CEO works to meet the diverse needs of the community we serve. Our Community Resource Center is seeking a WIC Program Manager to lead and oversee WIC program operations while supporting participants, staff, and community partnerships.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all components of WIC services and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Supervise, train, and support assigned staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and the delivery of high-quality services to WIC participants.
  • Support the development and implementation of program goals related to participant nutritional needs and grant initiatives.
  • Collaborate with agency programs and community partners to coordinate referrals and support participant access to services.
  • Ensure ongoing program compliance through quality assurance activities, including monitoring and evaluation of program operations.
  • Monitor caseload and breastfeeding goals and conduct outreach activities as needed to meet program objectives.
  • Complete required reporting and data entry and monitor staff documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in grant development and contract management, including program work plan and budget development.
  • Build and maintain internal and external partnerships that support participant needs and program referrals.
  • Perform nutrition and other program-related duties as needed to maintain efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term growth strategies focused on continuous quality improvement, including completion of the required annual Self-Assessment.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RD/ RDN) or Bachelor’s, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Nutrition or Public Health from an accredited college or university.
  • One year of supervisory experience (2 years preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday based on approved clinic hours.
