Our team thrives in a unique environment that balances a genuinely fun and laid-back atmosphere with a high-energy, motivated drive. We believe in working hard and celebrating our wins, fostering a culture where everyone feels empowered to contribute their best in a supportive, yet dynamic, setting.

We are currently seeking Sales Closers who are experienced phone sales professionals — or individuals who are ready to take the next step into a true closing role.

This position is a step up from traditional phone sales. While the Closer performs all core phone sales responsibilities, they carry added accountability for confirming, locking in, and protecting high-quality appointments that lead directly to in-home sales opportunities.

Position Overview

Phone sales representatives are responsible for engaging with potential customers via outbound phone calls to secure and confirm roof inspection appointments. The primary objective is to ensure homeowners commit to a scheduled inspection, which ultimately leads to a sit-down with a sales representative.

The Closer must confidently communicate the value of the inspection, overcome objections, and maximize appointment confirmations while maintaining strong performance metrics.

Modern Exteriors provides full training, ongoing development, and an industry-leading commission structure that enables top performers to earn $100K+ per year.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct outbound calls using leads generated by our marketing team
  • Secure and confirm scheduled roof inspection appointments
  • Clearly explain the details and benefits of a roof inspection to generate homeowner interest
  • Overcome objections and concerns to maximize confirmation rates
  • Ensure homeowners are committed to the scheduled inspection
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and appointments in the company CRM
  • Adhere to company scripts, training materials, and best practices
  • Attend weekly meetings with the Inside Sales Manager to review performance and company goals

Performance Metrics & Reporting

  • Track and maintain KPIs including:
  • Confirmation percentage
  • Sit rate
  • Total sit rate
  • Provide daily and weekly reports on call outcomes and appointment success rates
  • Utilize CRM and tracking tools for accurate performance documentation

Qualifications & Expectations

  • Strong verbal communication and persuasive sales skills
  • Ability to steer conversations and establish rapport quickly
  • Maintain confidence and poise throughout the sales process
  • Ability to handle objections effectively
  • Experience in phone sales, customer service, telemarketing, or inside sales preferred (not required)
  • Proficiency with CRM and scheduling tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong desire for professional growth and financial independence

Why Join Modern Exteriors?

  • Industry-leading compensation: $25,000 base salary + uncapped commission
  • Average earnings: $65,000 – $90,000
  • Top performers earn $100K+
  • Full benefits package:
  • Health, Dental, Vision
  • Paid holidays
  • Paid training and ongoing development
  • Unlimited upward mobility — we promote from within
  • Fun, upbeat, competitive team culture
