Job description

Irma Chaira - State Farm Agency, located in Tempe, AZ has an immediate opening for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Insurance Sales Representative. Must have an active Property and Casualty insurance license.

1. Must have an ACTIVE Property and Casualty insurance license
2. Must be bilingual; fluent in Spanish and English
3. Must be willing to commute to our Temple, AZ office location, this is an in-house position.

Responsibilities
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification

Requirements
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required
  • Property & Casualty license required
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
  • Series 6 Securities Sales license (must be able to obtain)
  • Insurance Sales Experience/ Property & Casualty and L/H licenses preferred
  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to effectively relate to a customer
