Position Overview

VIP Systems is seeking a proactive and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of luxury high-rise technology infrastructure projects. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, developers, general contractors, vendors, and field teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized leader with strong construction management experience, technical knowledge of low-voltage systems, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

Project Lifecycle Management
  • Manage projects from turnover through closeout, ensuring all project milestones, deliverables, and contractual obligations are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for developers, general contractors, consultants, and clients.
  • Attend project meetings, coordinate project activities, and provide technical and operational guidance.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Resource Planning & Field Coordination
  • Coordinate labor requirements, field crew schedules, subcontractors, and material deliveries.
  • Work closely with field supervisors and technicians to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Monitor workforce productivity and adjust resources as needed to maintain project schedules.
Financial Management
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and subcontractor expenditures.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and process change orders while protecting project profitability.
  • Support monthly project billing and revenue forecasting.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, as-built documentation, and project closeout packages.
  • Ensure project documentation, certificates of insurance (COIs), lien waivers, permits, and compliance records are complete and properly maintained.
  • Verify adherence to project specifications, company standards, safety requirements, and applicable codes.
Quality & Safety Management
  • Ensure installations meet design requirements, manufacturer specifications, and quality standards.
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety across all project sites.
  • Conduct project reviews and inspections to verify work quality and completion.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of project management experience in low-voltage systems, security integration, electrical contracting, telecommunications, or related construction industries.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Structured Cabling Systems
    • Access Control Systems
    • CCTV / Video Surveillance
    • Network Infrastructure
    • Integrated Building Technologies
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractors.
  • Strong knowledge of project documentation processes, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Pro core, Bluebeam, Auto desk, Construction Cloud, or similar software.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout South Florida.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Experience managing luxury high-rise residential construction projects.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with South Florida construction practices and permitting processes.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects exceeding $500K in value.
Preferred Certifications (Not Required)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI-ACP, CTS or CTS-I
  • BICSI Technician, Installer, or RCDD Certification
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
