Job Summary:
Under general direction, provides decision support and analysis to the Executive Team in accordance with the direction of the organization. Specialist will support the President and other Executive Leadership Team members with all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Works with all areas affected by the project including end users, project sponsors and senior leadership. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, realization schedules and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Specialist will create presentation ready materials to assist in making recommendations to the organization.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Competitive/Healthcare Industry Studies – proactively monitor and document local and national healthcare tends and competitive strategies. Consider and share strategic implications. 
  • Work with senior department members to develop whitepapers and/or recommendations based on findings.
  • Analytics – perform a review of analytics to assist with various special projects, tracking and monitoring progress toward assigned goals.
  • Document Development – in collaboration with other staff, develop high-quality reports, presentations and written documents that require limited re-work.
  • Respond to requests – independently respond to ad-hoc requests for data and information.
  • Attend meetings, as needed, as an integral part of managing projects for the office of the President as well as Executive Leadershi..
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solution of significant issues and develops recommendation for leadership consideration. 
  • Competent to work all phases of the project at the executive level of leadership. Provides guidance, direction and training to less experienced Project Managers.

Qualifications:
  • Required Bachelor's Degree in health care administration or related field or equivalent years of experience
