Job description

As a Business Development Director focused on regional healthcare at Bluewave, you will cultivate new customers for our technology solution advisory within the regional healthcare space. Your goal is to generate long-term mutual value between each customer and Bluewave. You will carry an annual quota and be responsible for meeting or exceeding that quota on a monthly basis.
This role requires a demonstrable understanding of the intersection between the healthcare ecosystem and the IT advisory/channel space within the telecommunications and technology industry. You act with the highest integrity, and your strong communication and organization skills enable you to excel at internal and external communications while maintaining disciplined funnel management, forecasting, and quota attainment.
What You'll Do
  • Proactively identify and cultivate new customer opportunities with regional healthcare providers and hospitals
  • Impact sales results through executive-level engagement with key partners, including QBRs, strategic planning sessions, and CEO/COO-level meetings
  • Develop and write program concepts, proposals, and reports
  • Understand customer challenges and engage appropriate internal expertise and solution engineers to create value-added solutions
  • Develop strategies and business plans, leveraging partners and executing against metrics and milestones to drive company revenue
  • Interface with Account Directors, Operations, Partners, and Marketing to generate compelling, segment-specific marketing material
  • Attend trade shows and segment-specific networking events
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM entries (Salesforce) for a high volume of activity
  • Travel as needed to meet with prospects, clients, and team members
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
Work Location
This is a remote role. To be considered, candidates must live in one of these markets: Nashville, TN; Boston, MA; or Northern New Jersey (United States).

  • Strong understanding of UCaaS, CCaaS, PaaS, data center, and telecommunications solutions
  • Solid familiarity with the IT advisory and channel space within the telecommunications and technology industry
  • Discipline in the use of CRM tools (Salesforce) for forecasting and sales activity tracking
  • Windows PC experience and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Located in one of the specified markets

Eligibility

Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary: $100,000-$135,000+, depending on experience
  • On-target commission potential: $75,000-$125,000+
