Telecommunications Analyst

HOW A TELECOMMUNICATIONS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Analyzes, maintains, and modifies telecommunications and video systems to meet operational standards.
  • Monitors the operations of telecommunications and video systems and services of vendors.
  • Conducts studies regarding telecommunication systems usage and recommends changes as appropriate.
  • Plans, coordinates and performs all moves and installation of telecommunications equipment.
  • Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots complex hardware equipment as necessary.
  • Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications and video systems.
  • Provides end-user training of telecommunications and video features and functionality.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree: Degree in IT related field desirable.
Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Telecommunications and video experience with AVAYA and ZOOM platforms. IP based telephony, PBX platforms, Digital Voice Platforms.
Security Clearance Level: Agency specific - Public Trust
Required Skills and Abilities: Communication and problem solving. After hours call out - support.
Preferred Skills: Voice and Video technologies

The likely salary range for this position is $72,250 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
