Project Manager Role:

The Project Manager will oversee ground-up multifamily construction projects from preconstruction support through project completion and closeout. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a self-motivated Construction Project Manager with strong multifamily experience, operational leadership skills, and the ability to adapt within a fast paced construction environment.

This Project Manager role will initially focus on one assigned project at a time, allowing for stronger project ownership, collaboration, and execution quality. As the company continues to grow, there will be opportunity for expanded project responsibilities and career advancement.

The Multifamily Construction Project Manager will work closely with Senior Project Manager and collaborate with field teams, Superintendents, Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and ownership groups throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead multifamily construction projects from preconstruction support through final closeout

Manage project scheduling coordination, procurement, budgeting, logistics, subcontractor communication, and project execution

Partner with field teams and Superintendents to proactively identify and resolve construction challenges

Support preconstruction efforts in collaboration with the dedicated preconstruction team

Oversee project forecasting, cost tracking, change orders, contingencies, and financial reporting

Maintain strong understanding of project contracts, scope modifications, and operational impacts

Coordinate closely with ownership groups, architects, consultants, and trade partners throughout construction

Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management systems to maintain project organization and communication

Promote accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and a positive project culture

Support Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers while collaborating across office and field operations

Ensure projects maintain company standards for safety, scheduling, quality, and client satisfaction



Project Manager Background Profile:

5โ€“7+ years of commercial construction project management experience required

Multifamily construction experience is REQUIRED

Ground-up multifamily construction experience strongly preferred

Experience with market-rate multifamily, affordable housing/HUD, or senior living projects preferred

Strong understanding of scheduling, procurement, budgeting, forecasting, logistics, and contract administration

Experience working closely with field operations and subcontractor coordination

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam

PMP certification preferred but not required

Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred but NOT required with strong relevant experience

Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills

Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-moving and evolving construction environment

Self-starter mentality with strong accountability and follow-through
