Job Description: Technical Product Manager

Since 2017, the company has leveraged its software development expertise and expanded its drone design and manufacturing capabilities through ZenaDrone to innovate and enhance customer inspection, monitoring, safety, security, compliance, and surveying processes.

Job Overview:

This is a 5-day on site position

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager in Toronto to take full ownership of the go-to-market strategy and product development lifecycle for Zenatech. You will lead the product’s commercial introduction, drive market fit validation, and define the roadmap for international expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the launch strategy in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering.
  • Establish positioning, pricing, packaging, and partner enablement strategy.
  • Develop value propositions for enterprise field service clients.
  • Define and evolve product vision based on user feedback, analytics, and market trends.
  • Conduct field visits and customer interviews with industrial clients and telecom service providers.
  • Identify and prioritize customer needs, pain points, and desired features.
  • Coordinate AI training workflows for task automation and technician guidance.
  • Work closely with AI engineers to develop context-aware training and support features.
  • Act as the central liaison between engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
  • Manage backlog, sprints, and product milestones in agile development.
  • Define KPIs to track product adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Iterate on the product roadmap based on insights and performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS, AR/VR, or AI-enhanced platforms.
  • Experience launching hardware/software hybrid products.
  • Familiarity with enterprise field service operations or industrial IoT is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in agile frameworks and product discovery techniques.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in AR/VR, AI-assisted learning, or wearable tech.
  • Technical fluency in working with video streaming, edge computing, or smart glass interfaces.
