Job description

Our culture lifts you up-there is no ego in the way. Our common purpose? We all want to win for our customers. We aim to always be evolving, dynamic, and ambitious. We believe in the power of genuine connections. Each employee is a part of what makes us unique on the market: agile and dedicated.

Time Type:RegularJob Description :
Role Overview

As a Data Analyst in our Business Intelligence & Analytics team, you will bridge the gap between complex telecom data and strategic execution. Embedded in an agile environment, you will work across our core domains (Executive Metrics & Revenue, Sales & Marketing, or Operations) to support our growing base of 1.5M+ customers across Canada and the US.

Your mandate goes beyond traditional reporting. You will not only empower internal stakeholders with robust dashboards and deep-dive analyses but also pioneer the next generation of self-service analytics by developing and integrating Agentic AI tools (e.g., AI data assistants, automated insight agents) into our data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
1. Advanced Analytics & Solution Delivery
  • Translate Data into Value: Act as a trusted data advisor to internal squads, answering complex business questions regarding subscriber growth, churn, revenue assurance, and operational efficiency.
  • Modern Deliverables: Support internal customers by delivering outcomes through four primary channels:
  • Reports & Decks: High-impact, strategic deep-dives and executive summaries.
  • Interactive Tools: Traditional, robust dashboards that monitor health and performance.
  • Governed Self-Service Data: Design and provision certified, highly optimized, and well-documented datasets. This enables data-savvy power users across marketing and operations to safely build their own ad-hoc analyses without risking data integrity.
  • Agentic AI Solutions: Innovative AI-driven assistants or automated workflows that allow stakeholders to converse with data and fetch immediate insights.
  • Telecom Insights: Analyze heavy data workloads related to ARPU (Average Revenue Per User), CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), LTV, network utilization, and cross-border market dynamics (Quebec/Ontario vs. US).
2. AI & Data Product Innovation
  • Agentic AI Integration: Design, test, and deploy AI agents and LLM-powered tools that interface with our data layer to automate routine queries and democratize data access.
  • Modern BI Modeling: Build and optimize scalable data models specifically structured to feed both visual dashboards (Tableau) and AI/LLM interfaces.
3. Technical Execution & Agile Collaboration
  • Cloud Data Warehousing: Write complex, highly optimized SQL queries in Google BigQuery to extract, transform, and analyze massive telecom datasets.
  • Data Visualization: Design and maintain intuitive, high-performance dashboards in Tableau.
  • Agile Methodology: Actively participate in cross-functional marketing or operational squads (sprints, stand-ups, grooming) under the guidance of BI Chapter Leads.

Qualifications & Skills
Technical Toolkit
  • SQL Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Google BigQuery (or similar cloud data warehouses) handling massive data volumes.
  • Data Visualization: Strong portfolio of building actionable dashboards in Tableau.
  • AI & Automation (The Frontier): Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM APIs, or framework development (e.g., LangChain, custom AI agents) to build data-querying bots. Python skills are a major asset.
  • Data Modeling: Solid understanding of star schemas, data warehousing concepts, and preparing data for consumption by both humans and AI models.

Experience & Soft Skills
  • Experience: 3-5+ years in a Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Product role. Experience in Telecom or subscription-based industries is highly preferred.
  • Agile Mindset: Proven experience working inside agile squads and managing a backlog of analytical requests.
  • Consultative Approach: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical data jargon into clear business recommendations for North American stakeholders.
  • Language: Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset due to our market presence in Quebec, Ontario and USA.

What We Offer
  • The opportunity to shape the future of AI-driven analytics in the telecom sector.
  • A collaborative, mature agile environment with clear mentorship from dedicated Chapter Leads.
  • A modern tech stack (BigQuery, Tableau, GenAI tools) with the scale of 1.5 million customers to analyze.
