Job Description

You will lead a team of Commodity Managers to develop, implement, and manage global sourcing and risk strategies for a portfolio of IT services, software, and goods. Additionally, you will indirectly lead a cross-functional group of regional IT sourcing commodity managers and analysts. This team will achieve improvements in the overall cost to operate the IT services, software, and goods delivered to our employees. Indirectly influencing a regional group of buyers to achieve year-on-year improvement in total cost, quality, and service. Managing supplier relationships for a portfolio of IT commodities. Accountable for delivering on the global IT Commodities and Services Sourcing vision, while driving improvements in the Cost to Serve for our IT organization. Providing leadership of cross-functional strategic sourcing teams and accountable for execution and implementation of IT Sourcing Strategies. You will report to the Director, Global Indirect Sourcing and have a hybrid schedule working in Milwaukee, WI.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Leading complex contract negotiations, including software licensing, subscription agreements, professional services, and supplier commercial terms.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing sourcing strategies that deliver measurable cost savings and total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements.
  • Managing supplier relationships and performance through KPIs, governance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Financial and analytical skills, including spend analysis, supplier benchmarking, and reporting.
  • Leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across IT, Security, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
  • Knowledge of RFP, RFQ, supplier evaluation, and contract management processes.
  • Managing global sourcing strategies and supplier portfolios across multiple regions.

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Vendor Management, or Category Management.
  • Knowledge of IT procurement categories, including Software Asset Management (SAM), Cloud Services, Cybersecurity, Telecom, Hardware, Infrastructure, and Digital Transformation projects.
  • Partner directly with CISO, CIO, IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Architecture organizations.
  • Experience with software licensing models, SaaS agreements, cloud contracting, and technology supplier negotiations.
  • Experience implementing supplier governance frameworks, market intelligence programs, and sourcing best practices.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation projects, supplier consolidations, or strategic sourcing programs.
  • Familiarity with procurement technologies, contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and spend analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing global supplier negotiations with major technology providers such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, AWS, Google, Cisco, Verizon, or similar vendors.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent.
  • Experience driving supplier diversity, risk management, sustainability, and long-term supplier performance strategies.

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $159,680 - $239,520 with an annual target bonus of 10% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
