Requirements
Responsibilities include:
โ€ข Estimation of software testing efforts based on technical specifications
โ€ข Providing input to improve product effectiveness, integration and usability
โ€ข Creating, documenting and executing software tests for the acceptance of new feature functionality
โ€ข Execution and management of the manual regression test suite
โ€ข Identification of software defects and usability issues in the development and stability cycles of the software
โ€ข Validating defect fixes
โ€ข Managing the automation backlog for the product; working with automation engineers to improve auto test coverage
โ€ข Creating synthetic data and organizing client project data within the OpenWorks/Oracle database
โ€ข Designing and executing tests which measure the performance of the software given varying hardware specifications
โ€ข Measuring and reporting stability of the product via test suite results and defect inflow/outflow
โ€ข Identifying and escalating project risks
Required Education and Skills
  • Hands-on experience using Agentic AI toaccelerate productivity.

โ€ข BS or MS in Geology, Geophysics, Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
โ€ข Proficient with both Windows and Linux platforms
โ€ข Must be self-motivated but be able to work well in a distributed team environment
โ€ข Team player: willing to coach junior team members and cooperate on cross-functional problem solving
โ€ข Good written and verbal skills
Desired Experience
โ€ข Previous experience with Landmark's suite of products
โ€ข Knowledge of Azure DevOps for defect reporting and test case creation/execution
โ€ข OpenWorks/Oracle project data management
โ€ข Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools technologies, i.e. GitLab
โ€ข Software development experience
โ€ข Working in an Agile development environment
โ€ข Hands on experience using automation tools for quality assurance
