Marketing Manager
Marketing | Full-Time
Pataskala, OH
About the Role
The Marketing Manager owns the marketing function for TIS and its operating companies. This is a leadership role- responsible for planning, prioritizing and executing marketing initiatives that directly support business development, pipeline growth, and brand positioning across all service lines. The Marketing Manager builds and manages the marketing calendar, drives campaigns from concept completion, oversees vendor relationships, and ensures every piece of public-facing content meets company standards. This role reports directly to the VP of Commercial Operations and manages the Senior Marketing Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Department Leadership
  • Own the marketing plan-set priorities, establish timelines, and drive initiatives to completion with minimal executive oversight.
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing calendar aligned to business development goals, seasonal demand and trade show schedules.
  • Translate company growth targets into actionable marketing strategies across Power, Fiber/Telecom, Wireless and Engineering service lines.
  • Manage the marketing budget and make smart allocation decisions across campaigns, events, tools and vendors.
  • Establish and enforce a formal QC process for all public facing materials-nothing goes out without a final check.

Campaign & Content Management
  • Plan, execute and measure targeted marketing campaigns including digital, email, social media and print.
  • Oversee content creation proposals, bid packages, presentations, case studies and customer facing collateral.
  • Manage the company website-content updates, accuracy, SEO and alignment with current branding and service offerings.
  • Lead social media strategy and execution, including content calendar, posting cadence and engagement tracking.
  • Track campaign performance and lead attribution. Report results with clear data, not just activity summaries.

Trade Shows & Events
  • Own trade show planning end-to-end-booth design, logistics, shipping, hotel coordination, staffing and follow-up.
  • Coordinate conference attendance, sponsorship, and speaking opportunities aligned with BD priorities.
  • Manage all events logistics proactively-time management skills and problem solving.

Brand & Vendor Oversight
  • Maintain and enforce brand standards across all operating companies, platforms and materials.
  • Manage external vendors (designers, printers, digital agencies)- set expectations, hold deadlines and ensure quality.
  • Ensure consistency across all channels-website, social media, printed materials, presentations and signage.

People Management
  • Directly manage the Senior Marketing Specialist-assign work, set priorities, provide feedback, and develop capabilities.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews. Address issues early and directly.
  • Build a team culture of ownership, attention to detail and follow-through.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of marketing experience with at least 2 years in a management or team lead role.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and execute-not just generate ideas, but drive them to completion.
  • Experience managing campaigns, vendors, budgets and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), social media platforms, email marketing tools and website CMS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Construction, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial service expereince strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

Preferred
  • Experience marketing in a multi-entity or multi-brand environment.
  • Familiarity with trade show logistics and B2B marketing in the utility and construction space.
  • Experience supporting proposal/bid processes in a government or utility contracting environment.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
  • Opportunity to grow within a dynamic Controllership organization
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture
  • Exposure to process improvement and systems optimization initiatives
