Job description

SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER (STARLINK CHANNEL SALES)

Starlink is the world's largest satellite constellation delivering high-speed, low-latency broadband to customers around the globe. As the Sales Operations Manager, you will own the systems, processes, and data that make our reseller channel scalable and high performing. You will operate reseller portal onboarding, co-sell registration, Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and pipeline reporting from the channel-then turn that information into clean systems, dashboards, and workflows that make Channel Sales, Enterprise Sales, and every member of our channel more productive. You will work closely with Channel Sales, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Product, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and GTM engineering to remove friction between direct and indirect motions and unlock efficient indirect revenue.

RESPONIBILITIES:

  • Own reseller portal onboarding operations, tiering workflows, portal readiness, and clean reseller data across CRM and reseller systems-so new and existing channel members can work productively without friction
  • Design and operate co-sell registration as part of the tiering approval process, ensuring required information is captured completely and consistently before approval
  • Build and run the quarterly channel data collection process to capture KYC and pipeline reporting from resellers; define how data is submitted, validated, stored, and used in systems and reports with Legal, Finance, Compliance, Sales Operations, and GTM engineering
  • Partner with Channel Sales on reseller performance by owning the data, reporting, scorecards, and operational insights that help Channel Sales manage the channel-without owning reseller performance management or running business reviews
  • Define and enforce service levels for portal onboarding, co-sell registration, quarterly KYC/pipeline submissions, and handoffs across Channel Managers, Sales Operations, Legal, Finance, and Compliance
  • Collaborate with the GTM Engineer and Data Engineer to improve data quality, automate capture of KYC and pipeline inputs, and embed reseller-safe tooling that increases productivity for Channel Sales, Enterprise Sales, and channel members
  • Establish success metrics for channel operations (portal onboarding cycle time, co-sell registration completeness, quarterly KYC/pipeline submission rate and quality, data usability in reports) and continuously optimize based on field and Channel Sales feedback
  • Act as a trusted advisor to channel and enterprise leadership on operational bottlenecks, data readiness, and investments that scale indirect revenue and improve productivity across the channel

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in channel operations, reseller operations, sales operations, revenue operations, or a related go-to-market function
  • 1+ years of experience owning reseller or channel operational processes such as portal onboarding, registration workflows, PRM/portal operations, or channel data/reporting

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience supporting Enterprise or complex B2B channel/reseller motions (ideally technology, SaaS, telecom, satellite/connectivity, or hardware)
  • Experience designing or operating registration/tiering workflows and collecting KYC or equivalent compliance information from resellers
  • Experience building systems or processes to collect recurring channel pipeline reporting and turn it into usable CRM data, dashboards, and operational insights for sales leadership
  • Strong CRM discipline (HubSpot or Salesforce) and experience operating reseller portals or PRM platforms
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to define and track channel ops KPIs (portal onboarding cycle time, registration completeness, quarterly submission rates, data quality, productivity impact)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to document processes, train Channel Managers and resellers on portal/registration/data requirements, and drive cross-functional alignment without formal authority
  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments with frequent product, pricing, and process changes
  • Familiarity with co-sell motions, channel conflict resolution, and compliance workflows is a plus

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support major product launches, reseller programs, certification events, or critical sales initiatives
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support channel manager training, reseller enablement, and key events
