Co-Head, Axiom Private Credit

TriEdge Investments

New York, NY • On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 2 days ago

Job description

Co-Head, Axiom Private Credit
About Axiom Private Credit
Axiom Private Credit is a new, healthcare lending platform established under TriEdge Investments as a standalone strategy. The platform provides senior and subordinated mezzanine, secured financing to transitional skilled nursing and senior-care assets, including skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and independent living facilities. Rather than operating as a conventional balance-sheet lender, Axiom serves as an active bridge lender offering creative solutions including participating in the upside through preferred returns or warrants. Built on Hypha, TriEdge's proprietary AI platform, Axiom is positioned to deploy efficiently and to expand beyond skilled nursing into healthcare credit more broadly.
About TriEdge Investments
TriEdge is a family office focused on building enduring value across healthcare, financial services, cybersecurity, defense technology and beyond. Founded in 2024 by Simcha Hyman, who brings 15+ years of experience building and exiting companies in healthcare and finance, TriEdge takes a multi-strategy approach, investing across stages and verticals including private equity, venture capital, real estate, and company incubation. With offices in New York City, Miami, and Tel Aviv, TriEdge brings together a team of seasoned operators, technologists, and investors to partner with founders building the technology-enabled platforms of tomorrow. Equally important to the mission is impact investing and philanthropy with a focus on mental health, education, and combating poverty and antisemitism. What We're Really Looking For
We are seeking an experienced and analytically rigorous individual to launch and lead Axiom Credit as its full-time operating principal, working alongside a part-time co-head who provides legal and deal-execution oversight. The successful candidate will develop and oversee underwriting, origination and credit review; manage the platform's assets on Hypha; and support expansion into adjacent healthcare verticals over time.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and manage a team to own end-to-end underwriting for transitional skilled nursing and senior-care credits, structuring each transaction with appropriate use of preferred returns, warrants, and downside protection.
• Lead origination across the platform's channels, including direct borrower relationships, brokers, and opportunities sourced through banking relationships.
• Actively manage the loan portfolio, monitoring credit performance and intervening early to protect returns.
• Develop the platform's technology (Hypha) across underwriting, credit policy, covenant monitoring, servicing, and compliance, translating transaction logic into structured workflows.
• Manage the pace and concentration of deployment across a high volume of small-balance transactions (generally under $20 million).
• Support the platform's growth, including relationships with lenders and prospective institutional partners, as the strategy scales toward larger facilities and additional verticals.
Who You Are
• 3-7 years of experience in credit, special situations, distressed, or structured lending, ideally from a leading credit or investment platform; candidates above this range will be considered for the right profile.
• An advanced and creative underwriter, capable of structuring non-standard, transitional credit and underwriting to a managed downside.
• Proactive in generating origination and deal flow, in addition to underwriting inbound opportunities.
• Able to pair rigorous credit analysis with the adaptability to build new processes in a fast-evolving environment.
• Motivated by developing underwriting and asset-management workflows on an AI platform (Hypha).
• Entrepreneurial and effective in a fast-moving environment.
• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or private-credit experience is an advantage rather than a requirement; we will support the right candidate in learning the asset class.
Location
TriEdge is an in-person team with offices in Hudson Yards, New York; Miami, Florida; and Tel Aviv, Israel. This role will be based in Hudson Yards, New York, and will be in office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. Periodic travel will be required.
Pay Transparency
The annual base salary range for this position is $250,000-$350,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation, equity participation, or our comprehensive benefits package. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual performance bonus and for qualified candidates will include a meaningful equity interest in the platform's general partner (carried interest / profit participation), subject to a vesting schedule. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Please note: We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to diversity and inclusion. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, ethnicity, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, disability, marital status, partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
