What You Will Do 

  • Develop new accounts, including creating leads for repair and service work, by cold calling, referrals, and networking  

  • Effectively manage existing accounts in customer base 

  • Document Account Management and sales related activity as instructed by VP of Sales, including but not limited to cold calls, inspections, in-person meetings 

  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals 

  • Consult with customers and provide industry standard roofing advice and proposals in a timely manner  

  • Work with operations team to assist with scheduling and coordinating crews to meet client expectations 

  • Actively participate in sales meetings and trainings and participate in continuing education by attending manufacturer and industry seminars, conferences, &/or training sessions 

  • Provide constant communication with customer base and VP of Sales 

  • Be a brand ambassador, consistently promoting services provided by company 

  • Participate in and coordinate trade shows, expos and seminars for specific customer types (ie-architects, property managers, the hospitality industry), and perform various marketing functions with the ultimate goal of increasing opportunities for the Bulldog Group of companies  

  • When necessary, assist in receivable duties associated with your accounts

  • Minimum High School Graduate / College Preferred 

  • One year of related sales experience (preferred)  

  • Construction experience (preferred) 

  • Must speak, read, and write the English language fluently 

  • Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle report  

  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills 

  • Possess an outgoing and energetic personality and a high degree of self-confidence 

  • Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude 

  • Must be able to meet physical demands of position including but not limited to ability to safely manipulate extension ladder and climb ladder multiple times per day, prolonged standing and walking, ability to frequently carry items weighing up to 50 pounds 

  • Must have the ability to withstand working conditions, including outside and at extreme temperatures (down in the teens up to 90 plus degrees)
