Technology Coordinator
Christ the Redeemer Catholic School, Houston, TX

Position Purpose 
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop skills and competence in business and industry, technical skills, the use of technology, and the ability to problem solve in a wide variety of settings. 
Job Duties:


  • Day-to-day hardware troubleshooting
  • Inventory of all campus technology
  • Distributing devices to teachers, staff, and students
  • Also, live streaming and sound engineering for school events
  • Assist with campus-wide software programs

Additional Role:

  • Open to teaching a Technology elective class(es)
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent. 

Equipment:

  • Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copy and fax machines, and telephone. 

 Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

  • Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles.
  • In-depth knowledge of, and ability to use, MS Office Standard (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Knowledge of PC and MAC hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
  • Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.Â
