Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in field service, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repair on various equipment, including air conditioning systems and refrigeration units.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
  • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address plumbing, welding, and design needs as required.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on-site.

Experience

  • Proven experience in equipment repair, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with air conditioning systems, refrigeration, plumbing, welding, and general property maintenance is preferred.
  • Previous field service experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have minimum 5 years experience (in commercial work specifically)
  • Must be familiar with all commercial equipment (3-20 ton), split systems, VRV/VRF systems
