TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS SPECIALIST

As a Technology Solutions Specialist, you’ll bring technical expertise and an eye for optimization to the systems and workflows that make that possible.

About the Role

The Technology Solutions Specialist plays a highly collaborative role, leading process improvement and technology initiatives across Sheridan's print and publishing services business. You'll partner with Sales, Account Management, Operations, and customers to evaluate workflows, drive technology and process improvements, and own projects from concept through delivery — all as part of a close-knit technology team at the center of the strategic initiatives shaping Sheridan's future. It's an opportunity to modernize technology and workflows at a well-established, growing print manufacturer.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a technical resource to Sales, Account Management, Finance, and Operations
  • Provide technology expertise for print and electronic publishing services systems, processes, and solutions
  • Troubleshoot, support, and maintain the software, workflows, and systems used within Sheridan
  • Collaborate with Sheridan stakeholders and customers to create and optimize business solutions
  • Audit existing production and publishing services workflows to define, recommend, and deliver process improvements
  • Work in partnership with the customer, development team, and third-party vendors regarding business requirements and software functionality
  • Lead or manage projects using established project management tools, methods, and processes
  • Support Sheridan Sales team by leading technology demonstrations and discussions
  • Assist in training and onboarding Sheridan personnel and customers on technology-driven workflows and solutions

What You Must Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Publishing, Graphic Arts, Printing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of technology experience with emphasis on requirements definition, software development, and business solutions
  • Demonstrated initiative and follow-through in driving projects to completion with minimal oversight
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

It’s a Plus if You Have

  • Experience with print or publishing industry technology platforms
  • Familiarity with offset and digital printing specifications and process controls
  • Background in software development, testing, or IT systems
  • PMP or other formal project management certification
