Surgical Scrub Technician, OR Tech, ORT FullTime

Regional Hand Center of Central California has an exciting opportunity for an experienced OR Surgical Scrub Technician to join our ASC team. This at-will full-time position enjoys a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday week schedule, with weekends and holidays off.

Position Description:

Under direction of the daily assigned charge RN, assists in most aspects of the operative process. Exhibits detailed knowledge of surgical instruments and prescribed procedures to provide surgeons the appropriate sterile surgical instruments and supplies throughout the course of surgery. The OR Scrub Tech is responsible for scrubbing in types of cases during assigned schedule, room turnover between cases, stocking rooms and carts with communication to materials management, and equipment maintenance.

Collaborates fully with peers as it relates to creating a safe and effective work environment, culture of growth, and focus on excellent patient care. Acts as a resource by coordinating with multiple departments, scheduling, informing Clinical Director, pre and post-op departments.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED;

Graduation from a recognized Surgical Technician program

Minimum 2 years surgical Technician experience preferably in an ASC

Current BLS

Good mental and physical dexterity

Excellent personal and moral character references

Demonstrated work ethic with adherence to attendance and punctuality

Great team player a must
