Job Description
This position is responsible for leading the disciplined execution of multiple concurrent, complex technology programs and projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality outcomes.
The role requires strong operational command across several active initiatives simultaneously, with accountability for planning, sequencing, financial control, risk mitigation, and cross-team coordination.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Delivery Management
  • Lead the execution of multiple concurrent, complex technology initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of defined business outcomes.
  • Develop and manage integrated delivery plans, roadmaps, and execution frameworks to coordinate cross-functional workstreams across BJ's.
  • Oversee project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution standards, milestone adherence, and accountability.
  • Manage resources across initiatives, proactively addressing capacity constraints, priority conflicts, and interdependencies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate with clear recommendations when executive decisions are required.
  • Enforce standardized governance processes, documentation, and compliance requirements across all programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery performance and operational rigor.

Reporting and Communication
  • Provide structured, executive-level reporting across initiatives, including status, financials, risks, dependencies, and milestone tracking.
  • Ensure consistent use of delivery processes, reporting templates, and governance artifacts.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders at all levels to maintain alignment and transparency.

Financial Management
  • Own program financials across multiple initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Partner with Finance on annual planning and ongoing monthly reviews to ensure disciplined spend management.
  • Proactively manage cost, schedule, and scope trade-offs to protect value delivery.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Technology project and program management, with demonstrated success managing multiple large-scale initiatives concurrently.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex enterprise technology programs involving multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience executing large-scale implementations using agile, waterfall, and/or hybrid methodologies, with strong emphasis on execution discipline and milestone control.
  • Demonstrated ability to build business cases, manage multimillion-dollar budgets, and maintain financial control across concurrent programs.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate status, risks, and trade-offs clearly and concisely.
  • Experience managing interdependencies across programs and resolving resource or priority conflicts.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering initiatives on schedule in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
  • Bachelor's degree required; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $137,500.00 - $175,500.00
