Position Title: Program Manager
The Program Manager plays a crucial role in driving the success of innovative projects within the organization. This position is pivotal in managing a new business model focused on government contracts, particularly in the realm of advanced manufacturing. The Program Manager will oversee the execution of a significant contract, ensuring that all project components align with established risk profiles and timelines. The individual must navigate complex relationships with various stakeholders, including vendors and technical teams, to foster collaboration and achieve project goals. A strong sense of urgency and adaptability is essential, as the environment is dynamic and fast-paced. Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 / Year DOE
Program Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage the execution of a $15 million government contract focused on innovative manufacturing solutions
  • Oversee project teams, ensuring adherence to risk management frameworks and compliance with MIL-STD requirements
  • Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) and integrated master schedules (IMS) to track project progress
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Develop and write Statements of Work (SOW) for projects
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and customers
  • Support the growth of the new business unit through strategic planning and team development
  • Identify solutions to challenges and implement effective strategies to meet project demands

Program Manager Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in DoD program management within government or a prime contractor; familiarity with MIL-STD requirements
  • Experience managing medium-sized government contracts (>$5M), particularly with the Department of Defense
  • Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), integrated master schedules (IMS), and formal risk management frameworks
  • Proven track record supporting the buildout and management of project teams in a technical field
  • Manufacturing experience is required
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • U.S. Persons status is required due to ITAR/export control regulations
  • Flexibility in working hours is preferred
