Job description

Overview
Advanced Technology Institute (ATI) is seeking a leader in the field of automotive maintenance to oversee academic programs in these fields.
This leadership position will be responsible for oversight of instruction, curriculum, student success, expenses, enforcement of policies and procedures, scheduling of classes and accreditation standards in order to maintain high-quality, career-driven, hands-on education.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support to students through advising and next level handling of student issues.
  • Monitor faculty follow-up with students concerning absence, missing work and/or poor academic progress, contributing to the institution's commitment to student retention and success.
  • Review and provide feedback on instructor performance.
  • Ensure training aids and tools are in working order and request upgrades as needed to support/enhance student learning.
  • Pro-actively identify areas of opportunity to improve program quality through curriculum revisions, identification of new learning resources, and relationship building with industry partners.
  • Contribute to the identification and development of new programs, and alignment of existing curriculum.
  • Classroom teaching as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
  • Associates Degree in relevant field required. Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred.
  • 7 or more years of progressively responsible industry experience.
  • Previous Academic Management experience preferred

Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to work with a variety of learning styles and skill levels Strong time management skills and detail-orientation
  • Working knowledge of computer applications and the ability to quickly learn new computer software
  • Experience with distance learning or learning management systems (LMS) preferred
