OF VACANCIES: One (1) or more AGENCY: Office of the Chief Information Officer DURATION OF APPOINTMENT: Permanent COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT: This position is not in a collective bargaining unit. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).

The incumbent will design, deploy, and migrate and maintain systems for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments. Duties include, but are not limited to: developing, documenting, making recommendations, and communicating plans for investing in IT systems and cloud infrastructure; designing, deploying, and managing Azure Gov IaaS, SaaS & PaaS services, and solutions; monitoring cloud infrastructure for errors or problems and resolve them in a timely manner; and managing a team of technical subject manager experts and other IT professionals. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Seven (7) years of progressive experience designing and maintaining enterprise cloud solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure, IaaS, PaaS services and solutions. Experience implementing DevOps practices and automated testing of network technologies as they relate to Azure & AWS. Familiarity of security policies, network security, data security and security event management to adopt cloud security services.

Experience providing architectural consulting expertise, direction, leadership, and assistance to systems analysts and administrators, IT cloud engineers, and other systems architects. To include one (1) year of experience managing a team of technical subject manager experts and other IT professionals. Demonstrated experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, and relational databases such as MS SQL is desired.

Specialized Experience Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.
