$130,000.00 /Yr. - $150,000.00 /Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

This role will report onsite to any of our available office locations listed. Remote or Hybrid is not available.
Axos Bank is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on, and technically proficient Sr. IT Manager to lead and manage enterprise infrastructure operations and end-user support services. This role demands deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Server technologies, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, and Desktop Engineering, along with strategic oversight of the Help Desk function. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure system reliability, and deliver exceptional user support across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Oversee the administration and optimization of Microsoft Server environments, including patching, backup, and performance tuning.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory architecture, group policies, and identity/access controls.
  • Lead cloud infrastructure initiatives using Microsoft Azure, including resource provisioning, cost optimization, and security compliance.
  • Administer Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.

Desktop Engineering & Help Desk

  • Direct the Desktop Engineering team in deploying, configuring, and maintaining end-user devices and software.
  • Implement and manage endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune) for patching, compliance, and asset tracking.
  • Lead the Help Desk function to ensure timely resolution of technical issues, high customer satisfaction, and adherence to SLAs.
  • Develop and enforce IT support policies, escalation procedures, and knowledge base documentation.

Security & Compliance

  • Collaborate with InfoSec teams to enforce infrastructure security policies and conduct vulnerability remediation.
  • Monitor and respond to system/network security incidents and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Mentor and develop technical staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align IT services with business goals.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments to enhance infrastructure capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years in IT infrastructure roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
