ABOUT THE JOB
The Head of IT will be responsible for leading, planning, organizing, and managing all activities within the IT department. This role ensures the effective, efficient, and secure operation of the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design and implement strategic plans that identify key information technology solutions to support business objectives and create new strategic opportunities.
  • Oversee staffing, organizational development, and hardware acquisitions, ensuring alignment with and support for the overall business strategy.
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of systems, applications, and software solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Administer and control the information systems (IS) budget to ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
  • Continuously monitor advancements in systems and hardware to incorporate innovative technologies into future system designs.
  • Assess the performance of current hardware and software to ensure they meet the company's needs and support its growth and evolving objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with department managers, addressing data processing inquiries, evaluating needs, overseeing service quality, providing training, and ensuring smooth system transitions.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends, innovations, and best practices within the IT and IS industry to keep the organization competitive.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce written policies and procedures for all computer operations to ensure consistency, security, and regulatory compliance.
