JOB SUMMARY

Position Purpose Summary:

The Executive Technology Specialist provides technology support for executive leadership and corporate office personnel while serving as a senior escalation resource for the IT Service Desk. This role is responsible for supporting Microsoft 365 technologies, collaboration platforms, conference room and audiovisual systems, and end-user computing environments.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with exceptional customer service and communication skills and is comfortable supporting executives, business leaders, and other high-visibility users. 

This position plays a key role in ensuring a seamless technology experience across the corporate office while supporting broader workplace technology initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

Provide technology support for executive leadership and corporate office personnel.

Serve as a Tier 2 escalation resource for complex support incidents and service requests.

Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, conference room technology, audiovisual systems, and collaboration tools.

Deploy, configure, and support Windows laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.

Assist with onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning, and access management activities.

Support executive meetings, board meetings, and special corporate events requiring technology support.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and collaboration technology issues.

Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.

Partner with IT Operations, Security, and Service Desk teams to deliver a high-quality end-user technology experience.

Assist with workplace technology projects, office technology enhancements, and technology improvement initiatives.

This position offers the opportunity to work with modern collaboration technologies while delivering a high- touch support experience for senior leaders and corporate teams.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Decision Making / Autonomy: Exercises independent judgment in troubleshooting issues, prioritizing support activities, and recommending solutions that improve the end-user technology experience.

Influences technology effectiveness and productivity through support, troubleshooting, and technology optimization.

Work / Problem Complexity: Supports a wide range of technology platforms and users, including executive leadership. Requires balancing routine support activities with urgent issues, special events, and complex technical troubleshooting.

Work closely with executives, corporate staff, IT teams, vendors, and external partners. Build trust and credibility through technical expertise, responsiveness, and customer service.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Certifications: Microsoft 365 certifications preferred

Teams Rooms, Teams Phone, or related Microsoft certifications a plus

Educational Requirements: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required

Bachelor's degree preferred

Years of Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT support, workplace technology, executive support, or a related technology role

Experience supporting executive leadership and high-visibility business users preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365 applications and Windows environments

Experience supporting conference room, audiovisual, and collaboration technologies

Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, SharePoint Online, Teams Rooms,

Teams Phone, and endpoint management solutions preferred

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
