How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The position:
This position will report directly to the ALAM Head of Technology Integration. The Technology Integration group intimately engages with strategic semiconductor customers during the technology adoption phase to i) share and educate on technology inflections and opportunities, ii) collect key market technical intelligence iii) contribute to the 5 year roadmap for ALAM molecules insertion in collaboration with the ALAM account team and CTO office, and iv) drive the adoption of ALAM emerging molecules. This successful candidate will own these actions globally for Intel & Micron accounts. He/She will be in charge of collecting and formulating the customer specific technology roadmaps and identifying new materials opportunities. The customer engagement scope will extend from early R&D through process development and pilot production. Customer key contacts will include process engineers, integration engineers and technologists up to Senior managers. The candidate must be well-versed and well-networked within the semiconductor ecosystem and have the ability to anticipate market trends, formulate winning strategies and supporting actions, and deliver profitable new business wins.
This highly visible position requires extensive collaboration across a wide network of Intel & Micron, OEMs, Affiliates, the broader Air Liquide, and within ALAM. As such, excellent communication skills and the ability to organize high performance teams is critical.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Contribute to an ALAM technology integration roadmap for Intel & Micron strategy with a 5-year outlook, together with ALAM/AL account teams.
  • Identify new materials opportunities and assess their potential with ALAM Technology Integration head and R&D teams. . Leverage strengths to position ALAM and drives resolution of weaknesses.
  • Work closely with AL teams (account managers, sales teams) to map out potential markets and identify strongest business opportunities.
  • Develop a technical network at Intel / Micron with a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities and process development / adoption decision making.
  • Organize regular Technology Review Meetings between Intel / Micro and ALAM and develops ALAM technical network at those customers.
  • Map out equipment companies position on key technology bricks under development at Intel and Micron, and reports the information within ALAM.
  • Collaborate with the office of the ALAM CTO to comprehend technology inflections and deliver best technology to customers with fastest speed-to-solution.
  • Complete competitive intelligence gathering via the use of SWOT analysis and Red Team/Blue Team analysis.
  • Work closely with the ALAM Head of Technology Integration to ensure alignment of product management, sales and customer roadmaps.
  • Act as a technical interface to Intel & Micron in collaboration with the office of the CTO to consolidate needs and define win-win solutions.
  • Share product improvement directions with product management team to meet customer technical performance requirements until adoption
  • Ensure successful sample deliveries and scale-up plan communication in close collaboration with ALAM Product Management and Account teams.

Required Qualifications:
  • B.S. or higher degree in engineering, materials science or chemistry
  • 10+ years of material or process development experience
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of industry issues and trends in combination with strong understanding of material science, product development and manufacturing.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively assess, evaluate, and communicate market opportunities, competitive issues, technical differentiation, and business performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate across organizational and cultural boundaries.
  • Ability to motivate, facilitate and direct the activities of individuals and project teams.
  • Accountable behavior: follows-up his/her commitments, communicates effectively and proactively.
  • Excellent organizational and resource management skills.
  • Ability to travel on a frequent and extended basis, domestically sometimes with little advance notice and possibly internationally on spot basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with leading a group of technical professionals
  • Experience with thin film deposition processes, ALD/CVD systems is strongly desired.
