Job description

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all technology infrastructure and systems within the organization. This role ensures the secure and efficient operation of the agency's IT environment, provides oversight for the IT Systems Specialist and IT Technician, manages vendor relationships, and supports the technological needs of internal stakeholders.

This is a full time, 40-hour per week position, located at our Benton office.

Duties include and are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including hardware, software, network, and systems support.
  • Overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, security systems, cloud environments, etc.).
  • Ensuring Electronic Visit Verification, EMR, and scheduling tools are operating accurately
  • Developing and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Leading IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and implementations across departments.
  • Ensuring the consistent use of Microsoft Teams and providing needed training to employees
  • Coordinating and supervising the support and troubleshooting of IT-related issues
  • Monitoring system performance, performing risk assessments, and implementing solutions for data security and disaster recovery
  • Managing the IT budget, procurement, and vendor relationships.
  • Monitoring and maintaining HIPAA compliance across all digital systems
  • Conducting regular audits and risk assessments to ensure data integrity and system security
  • Evaluating emerging technologies and making recommendations to improve service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Training, mentoring, and evaluating IT team members, fostering professional development and collaboration.
  • Ensuring alignment of IT systems and services with organizational goals and business needs.
  • Supervising the IT Systems Specialist and IT Technician
  • Overseeing the latest developments in CareVoyant, ensuring departmental needs are met and any issues are resolved timely with the vendor
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K and a valid Maine driver's license are required
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Professional certifications related to project management and information security strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Advancedskill level with Microsoft 365,Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in IT, with at least two years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Experience with enterprise IT systems, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and network administration
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • High level of attention to detail
