As the Project Manager, Clinical Research โ€“ New Site Build at Iterative Health for the Cardiology service line, you will lead the end-to-end execution of opening new Cardiology research sites from the ground up.Reporting to the VP, Growth, you will serve as the central project leader responsible for coordinating every aspect of a new site's developmentโ€”from site selection and facility readiness through regulatory activation, staffing, technology implementation, and study launch. Working cross functionally you\'ll ensure each site is delivered on time, on budget, and fully prepared to enroll patients.This role is ideal for an experienced project manager who enjoys building new programs, thrives in highly cross-functional environments, and is passionate about expanding patient access to innovative cardiovascular clinical trials.Where You'll Drive Impact
  • Lead the end-to-end project management of de novo Cardiology clinical research site development, from approval through operational launch.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and risk registers for each new site.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Real Estate, Facilities, IT, HR, Procurement, and Business Development.
  • Partner with Real Estate and Facilities teams to ensure new sites are designed, built, and equipped to support high-quality clinical research operations.
  • Oversee site activation activities including licensing, regulatory readiness, technology implementation, equipment procurement, SOP deployment, and operational workflows.
  • Coordinate recruiting timelines and onboarding activities with Human Resources to ensure appropriate staffing prior to site launch.
  • Partner with Clinical Operations leadership to establish study startup readiness, investigator onboarding, and research staff training.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and operational challenges while proactively developing mitigation plans to maintain timelines.
  • Facilitate regular cross-functional project meetings and provide executive-level status updates to leadership.
  • Develop standardized playbooks, templates, and project management tools to support scalable expansion across future de novo sites.
  • Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor performance throughout the site development lifecycle.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance speed, consistency, and quality of future site launches.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5โ€“8+ years of project management experience within healthcare, clinical research, life sciences, healthcare operations, or healthcare facility development.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive timelines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience developing project plans, tracking milestones, managing budgets, and reporting project performance.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience launching new healthcare facilities, physician practices, ambulatory care centers, or clinical research sites.
  • Experience within Cardiology clinical research or cardiovascular healthcare.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial startup, GCP, FDA regulations, and site activation processes.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Monday.com, Asana, Microsoft Project, or similar project management platforms.
  • Familiarity with CTMS, eRegulatory systems, and clinical research technologies.
