Head of Portfolio Growth

Location: Canada, Remote

About Niricson

At Niricson, we believe the world's most critical infrastructure deserves better intelligence.

From hydroelectric dams and bridges to airfields, utilities, transportation networks, and industrial assets, aging infrastructure is a growing global challenge. Traditional inspection methods are often slow, subjective, risky, and difficult to scale.

By combining robotics, AI, advanced sensing technologies, geospatial analytics, and data intelligence, Niricson helps infrastructure owners make smarter, safer, and more proactive decisions about the assets their communities depend on every day.

About the role

Niricson is looking for a Head of Portfolio Growth to lead the expansion of our existing customer base across infrastructure owners, public-sector agencies, utilities, airports, transportation authorities, and large asset-intensive organizations.

This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on turning initial customer engagements into broader, multi-asset, recurring, portfolio-wide relationships. You will build the strategy, operating rhythm, account planning discipline, and customer expansion motion required to grow Niricson's footprint within existing enterprise and public-sector customers.

This role is ideal for a commercial leader who has sold complex technology, data, inspection, asset management, or infrastructure solutions into government, utilities, transportation, engineering, or other asset-intensive markets.

What You'll Do

  • Own Portfolio Expansion

Lead Niricson's growth strategy for existing customers, with a focus on expanding from initial projects into larger, multi-site, multi-asset, and recurring customer relationships.

  • Build Strategic Account Plans

Create account plans for key customers, including stakeholder maps, expansion paths, renewal risks, procurement timelines, budget cycles, executive relationships, and multi-year growth opportunities.

  • Drive Expansion Revenue

Own expansion bookings, upsell, cross-sell, renewals, and account penetration across Niricson's existing customer portfolio.

  • Partner with Customer Success and Delivery

Work closely with Customer Success, Delivery, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure customer outcomes translate into long-term commercial growth.

  • Engage Executive Buyers

Build relationships with senior stakeholders across asset management, engineering, operations, capital planning, finance, risk, innovation, and executive leadership.

  • Turn Projects into Programs

Develop repeatable motions to move customers from one-time inspections or pilot deployments into broader portfolio-level adoption of Niricson's platform and analytics.

  • Shape Commercial Packaging

Partner with leadership to refine pricing, packaging, renewal structures, expansion strategy, and recurring revenue models based on customer needs and market feedback.

  • Build the Portfolio Growth Function

Create the playbook, processes, KPIs, CRM discipline, team structure, and reporting cadence required to establish a scalable Portfolio Growth organization.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, customer expansion, or commercial leadership.
  • Proven success expanding existing enterprise or public-sector accounts.
  • Experience selling into one or more of the following markets: infrastructure, utilities, transportation, public sector, municipalities, airports, dams, engineering, asset management, inspection, NDT, geospatial, digital twin, robotics, or industrial analytics.
  • Strong understanding of complex B2B or public-sector sales cycles, procurement processes, renewals, and budget timing.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into executive-level business value.
  • Experience building account plans and managing multi-stakeholder customer relationships.
  • Comfort working in a growth-stage company where systems, processes, and teams are still being built.
  • Strong commercial judgment, executive presence, and ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and revenue reporting discipline.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with infrastructure asset owners such as utilities, DOTs, airports, municipalities, transit agencies, hydro operators, or government infrastructure departments.
  • Background in SaaS, data analytics, AI, robotics, inspection technology, asset management software, or digital twin platforms.
  • Experience converting services-led revenue into recurring platform or subscription revenue.
  • Existing network across Canadian or U.S. public infrastructure markets.
  • Experience managing account managers, customer success managers, or strategic account teams.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 6-12 months, you will have:

  • Built a clear account segmentation and portfolio growth strategy.
  • Created strategic account plans for Niricson's highest-priority customers.
  • Established a repeatable expansion and renewal operating cadence.
  • Improved visibility into expansion pipeline and customer health.
  • Helped convert existing customers into larger, multi-asset programs.
  • Created stronger alignment between Sales, Customer Success, Delivery, Product, and Executive leadership.

Key Success Metrics

  • Expansion bookings
  • Net revenue retention
  • Gross revenue retention
  • Renewal rate
  • Multi-asset / multi-site customer growth
  • Expansion pipeline created
  • Strategic account penetration
  • Executive stakeholder coverage
  • Customer health and expansion readiness

Why Join Niricson

This is a chance to help define a new category of infrastructure intelligence.

You will work with a team applying robotics, AI, sensing, and analytics to some of the world's most important physical assets. You will help infrastructure owners move from reactive inspection to proactive, data-driven asset management.

As Niricson grows, this role will have the opportunity to shape a core commercial function, influence company strategy, and build long-term customer relationships across some of the most important infrastructure markets in North America and globally.

Compensation

Niricson offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, performance-based variable compensation, and equity participation. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated commercial track record.
