What is a technology director?

A technology director refers to two distinct positions. The first is the person in charge of technology at a school or in a school district. As an educational technology director, your duties are to determine the technology needs of students and teachers and develop partnerships with vendors to secure classroom technology within your budget. You also oversee other technical administrators and workers during the daily operations of the technology department. The Technology Director plays a key role in ensuring that technology resources effectively support the organization's operations and growth.
