Head of Enterprise Process & Digital Enablement (EPD)

Role Overview
The Head of Enterprise Process & Digital Enablement will lead the development of the foundational capabilities required to support Mitsubishi Power's digital transformation and long-term business performance. This leader will establish enterprise process ownership, governance, and accountability frameworks; define and standardize business processes across the organization while balancing business unit needs; and drive enterprise data governance, master data management, and data quality initiatives. The role will serve as the primary business partner to IT, ensuring technology investments and enterprise platforms such as SAP, CRM, Business Intelligence, analytics, automation, and AI are aligned with strategic business priorities. Additionally, this leader will develop and execute the enterprise digital enablement roadmap, improve adoption and effectiveness of core business systems, and build and lead the Process & Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Business Intelligence functions. Success in the role will be measured by the establishment of scalable governance models, improved process and data integrity, stronger business-IT alignment, increased analytics and AI adoption, and the delivery of measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
  • Define and execute the PG transformation and execution strategy
  • Align transformation initiatives with PG priorities and business outcomes
  • Establish a clear roadmap of initiatives, capabilities, and investments

Business Unit Partnership
  • Partner with BU leadership to translate strategy into executable initiatives
  • Ensure alignment across functions and eliminate execution barriers
  • Drive shared accountability for results and outcomes

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive adoption of CI methodologies and tools across the organization
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for performance improvement
  • Ensure improvements are sustained and embedded

Execution & Delivery Excellence
  • Ensure disciplined execution of cross-functional transformation initiatives
  • Drive on-time, on-scope, and on-budget project delivery
  • Establish consistent execution frameworks and governance models

Organizational Effectiveness & Change Leadership
  • Lead organizational efforts to enable adoption of transformation initiatives
  • Drive change management, communication, and capability building
  • Improve organizational health, engagement, and performance

People Leadership
  • Ensure disciplined execution of cross-functional transformation initiatives
  • Drive on-time, on-scope, and on-budget project delivery
  • Establish consistent execution frameworks and governance models

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including significant roles in operations management, business execution, process improvement, IT, or data/analytics-driven environments
  • Proven track record of driving business performance improvement through process improvement, process engineering, data insights, or system enablement
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business operations and how process and data impact execution and performance
  • Experience leading cross-functional, enterprise-scale initiatives in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and process standardization initiatives
  • Strong leadership and team development capability across diverse disciplines (process, data, analytics)
  • Proven ability to lead change and transformation initiatives across complex organizations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a results-oriented mindset

Preferred
  • 5+ years of direct experience in Process Engineering / Improvement, IT Enablement, Business Integration, or Data Management / Data Governance leadership roles
  • Experience designing or leading enterprise data governance or process governance frameworks
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or CRM) and enterprise data structures, as a significant user or as someone who has experience implementing enterprise solutions
  • Experience with modern data platforms, BI tools, or analytics ecosystems
  • Working knowledge of data governance, master data management, and business intelligence concepts
  • Experience serving as a business-IT interface, translating operational needs into system and data solutions
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, and advanced analytics applications
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, supply chain, or project-based environments
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation programs or organizational change initiatives
