Job Title: Technical Writer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Miami, FL (Onsite 3 Days/Week)
Duration: 6–9 Month Contract-to-Hire
W2 Contract
Work Authorization: Must be eligible to convert to full-time without sponsorship.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with a strong technical background and cybersecurity knowledge to create high-quality documentation for enterprise technology environments. The ideal candidate will have experience producing technical documentation, architectural diagrams, process workflows, and system documentation while collaborating with global stakeholders. Strong written communication skills are essential.

Writing samples or portfolio are required for submission.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, process flows, workflows, operating models, and system administration guides.

  • Gather technical information from cross-functional teams and translate complex concepts into clear, concise documentation.

  • Develop written and visual documentation for technical and business audiences.

  • Produce enterprise-level documentation for technology, cybersecurity, and compliance initiatives.

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and consistency.

  • Maintain documentation standards and support ongoing process improvements.

Required Skills

  • 3–7 years of Technical Writing experience in enterprise, technology, or SaaS environments.

  • Experience creating technical specifications, architectural diagrams, white papers, and user documentation.

  • Experience with cybersecurity, compliance, or risk management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

  • Experience using documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Markdown, Microsoft Office, Visio, or Lucidchart.
