Cyber Training Developer
The Opportunity:
Drive a multi-year technical training and assessment program. Leverage instructional systems design strategies and computer network operations experience to help magnify clients' cyber training capabilities. Collaborate with military leadership, technical experts, and operational colleagues. Build, validate, implement, and evaluate critical training programs for advanced learners who are motivated to grow their skillset. Training developers will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team producing highly sophisticated, technical, hands-on training solutions to meet the mission and time-critical needs of our client. Developers may also be part of the instructional team providing classroom instruction that teaches assigned students in the manner described in the Program of Instruction. Utilize your operational experience to foster a team environment of learning, progress, and excellence and help us build the next generation of cyber warriors.
You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience in Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) or Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO)
  • 2+ years of experience with development, testing, management, operations, or training of networked hardware and software systems
  • Experience creating and configuring virtual hosts and networks using VMware in support of training content development or instructional scenarios
  • Experience with the development, deployment, operations, maintenance, training, or administration of Windows or Unix-based operating systems
  • Experience with assessing student understanding, skills, and abilities to gauge proficiency in the subject
  • Ability to translate complex concepts or data into graphically appealing and easy-to-understand presentations for a broad range of audiences
  • Ability to navigate in an ambiguous, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with teaching cyberspace operations in a formal classroom setting
  • Experience developing training evaluation metrics
  • Knowledge of commonly used software-programming languages such as, Python, PERL, shell scripting, or others
  • Ability to build consensus and effective cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to adapt content development and delivery to a variety of audiences
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational, project management, analytical, problem-solving, and client-management skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
