Job description

In this role, you'll provide on-site operational support at the assigned facility, ensuring efficient customer service and vehicle readiness.
The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and comfortable delivering hands-on support in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
Customer Service and Vehicle Processing:

  • Assist customers with the rental process, including check-in, vehicle assignment, and rental return.
  • Prepare rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics and license plates, and conducting vehicle inspections.
  • Manage and organize vehicle compliance documents.
Operational Support:
  • Organize the vehicle lot and coordinate vehicle transportation.
  • Complete daily rental operations tasks.
  • Report vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to the designated point of contact.
Standards and Communication:
  • Maintain the company's service standards when interacting with drivers.
  • Communicate effectively with on-site staff and remote support teams.
  • Provide clear, concise updates and maintain accurate documentation.

Ideal candidate profile
Someone outgoing and able to have a conversation (they will need to talk to customers), and then also work heads down and clean/move a car. Past car detailing experience is a plus, or someone who has worked around cars, or has worked outside

Customer Service and Vehicle Processing: • Assist customers with the Flexdrive rental process, including check-in, vehicle assignment, and rental return. • Prepare rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics and license plates, and conducting vehicle inspections. • Manage vehicle compliance documents. Operational Support: • Organize the vehicle lot and manage vehicle transportation. • Conduct daily rental operations tasks. • Ability to physically handle high amounts of standing and walking. • Report vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to the designated point of contact.
Required skills
Experience: • 1+ year of experience in an in-person customer service role like retail, technical support or hospitality • Familiarity with the market area • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve problems effectively. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Proven ability to maintain patience, identify and solve problems, de-escalate situations, and work effectively in a team. • Valid, unrestricted driver's license and a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under insurance policy. • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
