Description:

The Sales Project Manager โ€“ Mission Critical Infrastructure serves as a key liaison between Account Executives, customers, and the Applications Engineering and Solutions Design teams to support the development and delivery of mission-critical infrastructure solutions. This role plays a critical part in coordinating technical sales support, project execution activities, and proposal delivery for complex electrical infrastructure projects supporting data center and critical power environments.


Operating cross-functionally across Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and external partners, this position helps ensure projects progress efficiently from opportunity initiation through execution. The ideal candidate combines strong project coordination skills with experience in mission-critical electrical infrastructure and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.


Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of coordination between Sales, customers, Applications Engineering, and Solutions Design teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Utilize Hyper methodologies and systems to forecast project needs, timelines, and proposal delivery requirements
  • Manage project execution activities from initiation through delivery, including coordination with suppliers and logistics partners
  • Track project milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies to support successful on-time delivery
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication between Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams
  • Support customer-facing activities including project updates, timeline coordination, and issue resolution
  • Identify execution inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives across project workflows
  • Maintain accurate project tracking and reporting within CRM, ERP, and project management systems

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support proposal coordination and technical sales support activities for mission-critical infrastructure projects
  • Assist with project documentation, scheduling updates, and operational reporting
  • Coordinate with suppliers and partners to support delivery timelines and project readiness
  • Support escalation management and mitigation planning for schedule or supply chain risks
  • Contribute to process standardization and operational workflow improvements
  • Assist with customer meetings, project reviews, and internal execution planning sessions

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing Day-to-Day

  • Coordinating project timelines, deliverables, and communication across multiple stakeholders
  • Supporting proposal execution and customer project tracking activities
  • Monitoring schedules, milestones, and risks across active projects
  • Communicating with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to maintain project alignment
  • Updating CRM, ERP, and project tracking systems with current project information
  • Assisting Sales and Engineering teams with execution support and coordination activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or Associateโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience in project management and sales support within the electrical infrastructure industry
  • Experience supporting data center power infrastructure projects including switchboards, PDUs, RPPs, transformers, or related electrical systems
  • Proficiency with project management software, CRM tools, and ERP systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel as required for customer meetings and project support activities

Preferred

  • Prior experience supporting commercial construction, design-build, or plan/specification projects
  • Experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure or data center environments
  • Familiarity with supply chain coordination and logistics support activities
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical engineering and operations teams

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Remote position with up to 25% travel as required for customer meetings, project oversight, and internal collaboration
  • Fast-paced environment supporting mission-critical infrastructure deployments across multiple regions
  • Flexibility required to support suppliers, customers, and partners operating across multiple time zones

Compensation

The anticipated minimum hiring range for this position is $110,000 - 125,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, and location. This hire will be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
