Job description

Technical Quality Specialist
C² Technologies seeks a Technical Quality Specialist to ensure that products meet usability standards and Section 508/accessibility requirements. This role will work closely with development teams to conduct testing, identify accessibility issues, and help resolve them to meet government compliance standards. This is an onsite or Hybrid position.

Summary:
The Technical Quality Specialist will focus on ensuring that products are accessible and function correctly across delivery platforms. This position will perform testing for compliance with Section 508 guidelines and report issues to appropriate technical staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accessibility and functionality testing for web-based training products.

  • Work with design teams to ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards.

  • Assist with testing/verification of user tickets and coordinate with technical staff to resolve issues.

  • Maintain a record of product versions and manage change requests.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years related experience in accessibility testing.

  • Demonstrated expertise with Section 508 accessibility guidelines and JAWS testing tools.

  • Experience testing training products on various online platforms, including LMS.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • DHS Trusted Tester certification.

  • Familiarity with UI/UX principles and web development policies.

  • Experience working with cross-functional production teams.

Tools amp; Software:

  • JAWS and accessibility testing tools.

  • Learning management systems (LMS) and web development tools.

Knowledge amp; Skills:

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and their application to web-based training.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure high-quality testing.
