Job description

Job Summary:
UST is a mission-driven group that transforms lives through technology. The Technical Project Manager will lead the delivery of replatforming initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders to manage project scope, timelines, and technical delivery across cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of replatforming and modernization projects across GCP, Azure, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define solution designs, migration strategies, and integration patterns.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
• Translate technical concepts into business-friendly updates for leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee technical delivery across IBMi (AS/400), Java/Spring Boot services, and ReactJS/NextJS UI components.
• Drive cloud migration planning, DevOps enablement, and integration with enterprise systems.
• Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong technical understanding of: Legacy Systems: IBMi AS/400 (RPG/COBOL familiarity a plus)
• Cloud Platforms: GCP, Azure (compute, storage, networking, security)
• Middleware & UI: Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, ReactJS
• Solid grasp of SDLC, DevOps, and Agile project delivery.
• Proven experience managing large-scale modernization or migration initiatives.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• 10+ years of project or program management experience, with at least 5 years in technical delivery.
Preferred:
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification preferred.
• Cloud certification (Azure or GCP) a strong plus.
• Experience working in large enterprise or high-volume environments.
• Strong balance of technical depth and leadership skills.
• Ability to influence and align diverse teams.
