Job Description:
The team and is responsible for protecting some of the most sensitive data. This team runs PKI and provides highly available, fault-tolerant PKI and encryption services that are leveraged across various teams and support almost every product. We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to join a fast-paced, security-focused engineering organization. This is a hands-on contract role supporting the delivery of a complex, security-focused SaaS program. The PM will partner closely with engineering leads to manage roadmaps, track priorities, ensure cross-functional alignment, and drive accountability across multiple concurrent projects. This person will serve as a supporting PM to the lead engineering program manager, with a focus on detailed project planning and tracking, translating technical work into clear stakeholder updates, and drafting and publishing key communications across the organization.
Key Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management
* Strong background in project planning, tracking complex deliverables, and establishing timelines
* Goal-oriented and highly motivated; able to work under minimal supervision in a multi-functional environment
* Proven ability to manage rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity
* Effective presentation, oral, and written business communication skills across various audiences and levels
* Strong decision-making ability - balances risks and benefits for the overall good of the program
* Experience working on security-focused SaaS programs a plus
* Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to standardize repetitive tasks and drive efficiency improvements
Details:
The technical project manager will track action items, prepare documentation, effectively communicate project status, and manage risk. This is a hands-on position where the Project Manager will be involved in analysis, testing, proof-of-concept, management of deliverables across the team.
* Lead multiple cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management through the full project life cycle, tracking action items, prepare documentation, and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders at various levels
* Manage risk and actively seek problem resolutions
* Resolve cross-functional and business issues
* Translate complex technical work into clear, concise stakeholder updates and communications
* Build positive relationships with multi-functional internal organizations
* Navigate and execute in an environment of ambiguity, leading teams to successful delivery of solutions
* Support analysis, testing, and proof-of-concept activities as needed BA/BS in Computer Science or related field. Project management certification (PMP) a plus.
