Job description

DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Sr. Project Manager in our Olathe, KS office! Responsibilities will include ensuring project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure construction project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities
  • Proven track record in successfully managing projects in carpentry, drywall or general construction desired
  • Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters, field staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
  • Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting
  • Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed
  • Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems
  • Work with submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts.
  • Responsible for financial success of projects
  • Additional company projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Project Management or Estimating experience within the construction industry preferred
  • Must have Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or Word Processing software experience
  • Must have proven experience in a fast paced environment, juggling a lot of responsibility, with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must
  • Must possess a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
