Technical Project Manager

Location: Miami, FL - Onsite/Hybrid

Type: 6‑month Contract‑to‑Hire

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with strong leadership experience to oversee technology deployments and guide a team of junior project managers. This role requires a proactive, assertive self‑starter who can manage complex rollouts with minimal supervision, ensuring successful delivery of innovative restaurant technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior project managers, providing direction and oversight.

  • Develop and manage project plans, rollout schedules, and deployment tracking using Excel and other project management tools.

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of restaurant technology solutions, including kiosks, digital menu boards (DMBs), POS platforms, labor scheduling tools, and back‑of‑house systems.

  • Coordinate with vendors, franchisees, and field support teams to ensure timely delivery and deployment.

  • Act as a liaison for franchisee technology needs, including communication, training, and issue resolution.

  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure accurate equipment delivery and ongoing support.

  • Utilize project management platforms such as Smartsheet, Jira, or Monday.com to track progress and manage workflows.

  • Ensure deployments align with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in team leadership.

  • Strong project management background with proven success in technical deployments.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for project planning, scheduling, and data analysis.

  • Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com).

  • Strong understanding of restaurant systems (POS, labor scheduling, back‑of‑house software).
