We're looking for a dynamic, technical Senior Project Manager focusing on Software to lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative new products specifically, reporting directly to the Product R&D PMO.
In this role, you will drive project execution by leading Software development efforts using Agile methodologies, ensuring clarity of plans and milestones, identifying and mitigating risks early, and facilitating effective communication and alignment. You will enable predictable delivery by anticipating challenges, driving accountability, promoting collaboration, and fostering continuous learning across projects. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Project Leadership & Execution
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate integrated project plans, milestones, schedules, and risks with support from the team.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, operations, compliance, and business partners to ensure clear expectations and effective progress tracking.
  • Prepare for and lead project meetings, manage agendas and action items, and support timely decision-making.
  • Facilitate milestone readiness reviews and ensure alignment on deliverables and requirements.

Risk Management & Issue Anticipation
  • Lead team efforts to identify emerging risks, dependencies, and constraints; drive early mitigation actions and escalate when necessary.
  • Monitor workstreams to surface bottlenecks or cross-functional challenges affecting project delivery.
  • Develop appropriate responses to unforeseen project events, ensuring that the project goals (cost, schedule, specifications) are met.

Communication & Collaboration
  • Prepare and deliver concise project updates, status reports, and communication materials for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment that encourages transparency, accountability, and constructive conflict resolution.

Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Facilitate project-level retrospectives and ensure lessons learned are applied to future work.
  • Champion use of new product development processes, tools, and templates and provide feedback for improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute insights that support organizational learning and help enhance new product development practices.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Relevant professional experience in software within a related electronics industry commensurate with the level of this position.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage structured project execution.
  • Strong communication, organization, analytical, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating across functions and geographies.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the Test and Measurement or related electronics industries.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
  • Experience with integrated hardware/software/firmware product development.
  • Background in process improvement and adoption of structured development methodologies.
  • Exposure to procurement processes supporting project execution, including managing purchase orders/appropriation requests (POs/ARs).
  • Certifications and/or relevant experience with Agile or Modified Agile for Hardware and lean product development principles.
