Job description

Position Summary: The Project Manager will lead the project management team, including Project Superintendents, estimators, accounting and administrative staff, and project engineers. The primary objective is to ensure projects are executed on/under budget and on/ahead of schedule.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review and Compliance with Project Requirements: Review and understand project drawings and specifications. Prepare submittals, schedules, Request For Information (RFI), obtain material and equipment price quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, track material delivery status, assist with change order management, close out documents, and any other tasks as directed by the project management team.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with all project stakeholders, including Clients, Contractors, Designers, and third parties (e.g., Fire Department, BWS, HECO, DOT) involved in the projects.
  • Site Visits and Documentation: Conduct on-site visits as needed and document conditions.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Fulfill other assigned duties as needed.

  • Construction Industry Literacy: Understands specifications, and drawings.
  • Onsite Work: Willingness to travel to various work sites.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Committed to providing high-quality customer service and support.
  • Physical Capability: Able to lift and move up to 20 pounds.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and other software.

  • Must be able to traverse construction sites (including uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, or active work areas).
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Visual acuity to read plans, technical documents, and computer screens.
  • Ability to travel locally for site visits, pre-bid meetings, or subcontractor coordination.
