Job description

Position Summary

The PMO Project Manager (Project Manager III) leads complex, cross-functional delivery within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modernization portfolio, with a focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and related business processes. This role drives project planning, stakeholder alignment, executive communications, governance, and delivery execution across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, understand business processes, and partner across technology and functional teams.

About The Team

You will join the PMO supporting enterprise-impacting initiatives on our ERP platform. The team partners closely with Finance, Technology, Data & Integrations, and Business Operations to deliver modernization outcomes that improve decision quality, close cycles, and operating efficiency. The PM III collaborates with project managers, business owners, solution architects, and vendor/implementation partners to ensure consistent standards and value delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead project plans spanning scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and key milestones while maintaining clear visibility into project health and delivery progress.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate resolution of risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact timelines or business outcomes.

  • Establish governance routines, maintain decision logs, and provide consistent communication to executive sponsors and business stakeholders.

  • Prepare executive-ready status reporting that highlights progress, risks, decisions needed, and anticipated business impacts.

  • Support testing, cutover, go-live readiness, and hypercare activities to ensure successful deployments and business adoption.

  • Partner with Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to translate business objectives into actionable project plans and priorities.

  • Coordinate activities with implementation partners and vendors, ensuring accountability to agreed deliverables and timelines.

  • Leverage PMO standards, methodologies, and tools including ServiceNow SPM/PPM and Smartsheet where applicable.

Projects & Scope You'll Support

  • Lead delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud initiatives across ERP-related platforms with a primary focus on Financials and supporting business processes.

  • Coordinate workstreams involving finance operations, integrations, data conversion, testing, reporting, training, and deployment readiness.

  • Manage medium to large-scale programs while driving alignment, resolving ambiguity, and maintaining focus on successful business outcomes.

Primary Qualifications

  • Experience delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP projects, with exposure to Financials, financial reporting, or finance-related business processes strongly preferred.

  • Strong project management experience including planning, governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and executive communications.

  • Ability to understand business processes and facilitate discussions between technical and business teams without requiring deep Business Analyst specialization.

  • Experience working with implementation partners and navigating Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.

  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, organization, and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

  • PMP certification or equivalent project leadership experience preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Teams.

  • Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM/PPM) and Smartsheet is desired.

Desired Skills

  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials and how core finance processes connect across the enterprise.

  • Experience supporting ERP deployments, cutover planning, hypercare, and operational stabilization activities.

  • Understanding of financial processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and reporting concepts.

  • Ability to analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate on solution delivery.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for executive and business audiences.

  • Composure & Resilience

  • Coaching & Developing Others

Role Details

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid; specific onsite cadence to be defined based on candidate location and program needs.

  • Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Senior PMO Manager (PMO).
