Overview

Apogee Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a FME Tools & Techniques Program Manager. The Technical Manager will lead complex DoW/IC technical programs for Foreign Material Exploitation (FME) Tools & Techniques (T2), focusing on R&D and rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex FME technical programs focused on R&D and rapid prototyping within the T2 Lab.
  • Apply acquisition and funding expertise with some or all of the following (SBIR/STTR, OTAs, MIPRs, AF Form 9s, O&M and RDT&E funds).
  • Track and report program cost, schedule, and performance; interface with AFRL, DARPA, AFLCMC.
  • Provide FME subject matter expertise to support strategy development and communication on all aspects of the mission across NASIC, the United States Air Force, other Services, the Department of Defense (DoW), and Intelligence Community (IC) stakeholders
  • Provide program management and technical support to assist the Government with mission management; planning coordination, project scheduling; product dissemination; and the identification of new tools and techniques to aid in FME
  • Provide FME subject matter expertise to support community engagement and program advocacy on all aspects of the mission across NASIC, the United States Air Force, other Services, the Department of War (DoW), and Intelligence Community (IC) stakeholders
  • Support strategic messaging and outreach to senior leadership and partner organizations
  • Provide technical consultation on FME methodologies and best practices
Qualifications

MinimumΒ Experience:

Citizenship:Β Must be a US citizenΒ Clearance:Β TS/SCIEducation / Years of Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in science or engineering.
  • 8 years experience with DoW or similar acquisition programs.
  • Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes.
  • Experience working with FME programs
  • Prior experience managing large R&D or rapid prototyping efforts.
