Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking an Information Assurance Manager to provide security support for an enterprise program at Scott AFB.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) program by providing the Government Engineers with technical support to include order applicability, mitigation actions, and network architecture engineering and supporting documentation.
  • Process USCYBERCOM and USAF issued orders via various formations that include Tasking Orders (TASKORDs), Operations Orders (OPORDs, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs), Maintenance Tasking Orders (MTOs), Cyber Notice to Airman (NOTAMs) or Special Instructions (SPINs).
  • Provide technical configuration information as necessary to support monitoring and updating the DISA web-based Vendor Management System (VMS) or Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS) and USAF web-based AFNETOPS Compliance Tracker (ACT).
  • Manage the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) program responsibilities in accordance with cyber orders.
  • Provide technical support and documentation to the Government ISSM in support of acquiring and maintaining Authority to Connect (ATO) requirements.
  • Perform weekly network vulnerability scans with approved AF tool (i.e. ACAS) and provide results in the Security Compliance Report.
  • Direct implementations, track and provide status of implementation of patches, updates, etc. to maintain compliance of all hardware and software in the network.
  • Perform first responder scans or other response tasks as necessary, Post-Notification Investigation and Network Defense (NetD) Incident Reports, ACAS vulnerability scans, and DISA VMS/CMRS configuration changes as requested from the Government Engineers, back-ups of the IDS Defense Center configuration and data, Syslog Server, firewall and DNS Logs to the Government ISSM.
Qualifications

8+ years experience in an information assurance or cyber security role.  Bachelor's degree in a related field.  Must be CISSP certified.  Experience with the certification and accreditation process.  Experience with Risk Management Framework.  Significant experience in vulnerability scanning and analysis, including the use of automated tools and vulnerability management systems.  Knowledge of intrusion prevention and network access control tools/systems.  Understanding of system audit principles and security risk assessment.  Must have a solid understanding of network infrastructure and mission assurance.  Familiar with Federal government and DOD standards for IA/security including DIACAP, FISMA, NIST, and OMB.  Must have solid communications skills and be capable of working with all levels of an organization.  Must be a US citizen and hold an active Secret clearance.
